Progress; the end to police brutality

Watching the horrifying death of George Floyd on CNN when the story broke out, I was surprised by just how normalized I was to it. I was not surprised because I’ve seen it happen before, with Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, and now with Breonna Taylor’s murder, whose killers are still roaming the street. But over the months since it happened, I have seen a wide range of people going out to march, all over the country advocating for justice to be carried out. And though progress is slow, I’m very suprised by the amounts of change and growing increase of a people, my people still fighting for a better and brighter future.
